Follow your passion. Even if the art thing doesn't happen, you can always become a museum director or something. This whole idea of "art school won't get you a steady job" is just total crap. As if going to art school means spending the rest of your life in an attic room sitting in your own waste outputting brilliant stuff people will only understand and value after you tragically succumb to exhaustion and self-neglect. People have such dumb ideas about what "has a future" and what doesn't. Passion always has a future. You should be happy that at least you know what your passion is at your age. Plenty don't.
